A few words about

What We Do

What We Do?

Imperfectly Beautiful is a holistic self-care brand and community that was built to support Black women who are ready to invest and thrive in their radical self-love journey.  Our mission is to help women transform feelings of low self-worth and acceptance into power and purpose through self-care practices that are easy to implement into their everyday life.

At some point in our lives, most of us may have struggled with valuing ourselves and understanding our true worth. When we don’t value ourselves, we fail to recognize the importance of our own wellbeing. We hide our struggles, depression, insecurities and low self-esteem, causing life’s circumstances to create a vicious cycle of negative thoughts and the perception that our experiences are not universal.

Caring for self is never a bad thing, however, women are often expected to put others before themselves. We neglect our health, emotions, passions/interests, and even happiness to satisfy the needs of others. We are natural nurtures for others except ourselves. Imperfectly Beautiful’s goal is help women to discover healing and wholeness by prioritizing holistic self-care practices.

When we do not take care of ourselves, we are unable to evolve into the best version of ourselves. Even though we all have our own life experiences that may have birthed some insecurities, frustrations, or hardships, the journey is still beautiful…Imperfectly Beautiful.
